Der Schwan dieses Abzeichens ist sehr detailliert und hängt an einem Kettenglied an einem kleinen Pin mit Floralornament. Dadurch kann er sozusagen frei baumelnd angebracht werden und schwingt an der Kopfbedeckung!

Unter dem Schwan sieht man ein Spruchband, auf dem "bout tan" steht - die Bedeutung ist uns leider unbekannt und wir freuen uns über jeden diesbezüglichen Hinweis!

Das Original dieses Abgusses, der in 3 Einzelteilen erfolgen muss, die anschliessend zusammengesetzt werden, wurde in Amsterdam gefunden. Man datiert den Fund auf den Zeitraum 1400-1449.
Originalstücke sind noch heute im Besitz der Sammlung Cothen, Kollektion Van Beuningen.
