Burschenkappe - 15th century cap
Beschreibung
Diese Kappenform ist auf diversen Gemälden vom 14. Jahrhundert an zu sehen - insbesondere war sie jedoch im 15. Jahrhundert sehr beliebt.
Diese Burschenkappe wurde aus einer rehbraunen Wolle genäht und mit weinrotem Leinen gefüttert.
Sie verfügt über einen schmalen Umschlag.
Für ein gutes Aussehen wurde rundherum eine zarte Handnaht gesetzt.

This cap can be seen on various paintings beginning in the 14th Century - but it was in particulary liked in the 15th century.
This cap is sewn from a fawn-coloured wool and lined with a burgundy linen.
It has a small folding part/brim.
For a better look, a delicate hand stitching was set around the hem.
